fashion ladies footwear brand founded in Sweden 2002 by Linda Hammar.
This brand is about teaming the
freshest, sexiest designs ever with exceptional leathers and quality.
All shoes are designed by Linda
Hammar in Sweden and made in Spain and Portugal by skilled and professional
craftsmen.
For Lashy to always remain exclusive, production is limited. We can produce small quantities and guarantee quality in each pair. We will work hard to always give our customers the best quality as well as sexy, innovative designs. Lashy will be marketed and sold only through selected high-end retailers.
I grew up in Sweden which is in Scandinavia, northern Europe. This part of the world is known not only for its cold weather, and open landscapes, but also for its very sleek, "no fuss" arcitecture and design that lives here.
As the searching, curious person that I am, I have always looked for inspiration in the complete opposite direction. I really think more is merrier and I think people should have some fun with fashion. Fashion to me is not serious, its art, an expression. Expressions can change all the time, you can play with it, but most importantly, have some fun with it!
After
completing high school I moved to New York. Here, I attended the Fashion
Institute of Technology. I graduated with a degree in Accessory Design in 2000.
Knowing that I found my path in life I have continued in this field since.
During and after my education here I have worked as a footwear designer with various footwear companies, both in the U.S.A. and in Europe.
The creation of Lashy is not a
one-woman show. Lashy is a result of successful cooperation with skilled
professionals from all corners of the industry. It has taken me a long time to
find these people, but I can honestly say that it has been worth every effort.
I am confident and backed by top quality people, who know top quality shoes!
